Got a few items from Jure today, thought you all might want to see.
Is it ok to make the shim smaller to loose some weight, or is there a pacific length they have to be.
Cheers ImageImageImageImageImage

It's a shim as my spare bike takes a 31.6 post. Will eventually be redundant once I get a new frame which accommodates a 27.2 post.
I'll change the two bolts to Black anodised to save a little weight to. :D

Those cages are gorgeous. I'd hazard a guess the shim is meant to mimic the minimum insertion for the post.

Thanks, yes Jure certainly makes some awesome parts. I'm thinking that's correct as I've never used a shim before. I will change my padded Lupina on my Lightweight for the list saddle and see how comfortable it is, also 11g lighter, the rest is for my spare bike. More goodies from Jure soon. Hopefully next year one of his frames.

Was just reading about the list saddle today, as it is a cheaper! Berk model.

If you can do a comfort comparison between the two that would be great.

Yeah no problem at all, the list saddles are very reasonable priced, so hopefully at the weekend I'll go for a ride, that's if it dry, lots of rain here in Adelaide atm, I'm actually looking forward to seeing if there's any difference.

Today I took a first ride on my List. Although a short ride, I never felt it there. Wow. That's a relief!

Previously on Lupina, but for me there was something about the flex pattern. Loved the big cutout, but the List showed me I don't absolutely need it.

As with all saddle comments, take what others say with a grain of salt, for it's only your ass on the line!

Thats good to know. I seem to get a little pain in the groin, feels like the edge of the cutout causing the problem. Will fit today and ride tomorrow. Interested to see the difference.

Post and cages now fitted on the spare bike. Saved 110g.
Saddle is now on my Urgestalt and tested. I would say a little more comfortable and Definitely less pain than the Lupina, well worth the price.ImageImage

Is that the first Berk seatpost seen in the wild then?

Those cages are gorgeous. When will they make their appearance on the website?

Threads like this are dangerous to my wallet. I ordered a Lupina Saddle (3K Plain Matte, 132mm, round rails) today, and I'm already anxiously watching for the FedEx truck....

Totally agree, owning a bike is very dangerous to the wallet. :)
I now have 4 Berk saddles, 3 Berk top caps, Berk post and cages, with more to come.
Wish I had never heard of him. Lol :)
