Insoles, cycling shoes?
Moderators: robbosmans, Moderator Team
I am hoping you chaps can shed some light on insole for cycling shoes. My current insoles in my Spuik shoes are showing signs of wear, and feel rather uncomfortable.
Is there any aftermarket brands, or popular brand that people use for insoles?
Many thanks

Very high quality would be Solestar insoles.
Also, Superfeet have worked well for me.

I really like Sole brand. They are heat mouldable:

@ gilles75, you were unhappy with the Giro insoles?
I find the Giro insoles to be fantastic, three different arches to swap in/out, they wear well and they are designed for the Giro shoe's last. I even got another set of the Giro insoles to put in my old Sidi's (had to snip them up a bit for the Sidi's but that is standard with other insoles as well.)

I've even used them in some non-cycling shoes.
I found I could get a good fit with Spenco ones too

I think it depends a lot about your foot arch shape. The Giro one are good, the Specialized red ones are even better for me.
Low profile insole Superfeet Carbon, great. Have Spec red ones as well, good, but not as good as the Carbon.
Sidi insoles? You mean the flat thin cardboard foot shaped pice?
The first thing to do when getting Sidi shoes, replace it.

Hahaha. Point taken, but so many choices available. I have to find out if my arch need support or not. I have always just used the cardboard ones . I believe I have a high arch but who knows .
