Well, I have been priming the cradle that I laid in quite a few years ago. Misses B and I are expecting our first around the time of Roubaix.

Fundamental question - how much does it weigh?

Did you really paint over carbon fiber?

Thanks all!

@tymon_tm, I hope i can do the same with my kid in a couple of years. It does sound great though!

@Martinko, I didn't get a chance to weigh it before paint. My grandfather, who passed away some 30 years ago, made this and it is a bit of a family piece right now.

@butcher, I did. ;) the cradle was painted to look like wood, my grandfather his painting skills were awesome!

Oh very hygge. Just need some handcrafted wooden toys to complete the scene!

Congrats, this looks wonderful!

Congrats! So when the young one is born on the 9th of April, does that mean the names are down to Josef, Tom or Roger for a boy? 8)

Congrats! Forget about staying fit lol.

I guess a some more padding will be added? Or will this be the baby equivalent of a carbon shell saddle? :D

congratulations, I wish you and your family all good things in life. I assume that soon you might be riding a little less but if that happens you are doing something that brings even more happiness.
