Look at the scenery instead. Or where you are going.

Get a powermeter, then you can stare at the cyclecomputer.

Actually that's a good point! Have my first PM (Inpower) coming on Saturday. Wonder if I'll end up staring at it :D

Should this be under the 'Absurd fixation' thread instead? [emoji1]

Anyway, using a 130mm stem I cannot see my top tube at all while riding. I did find my plain black Kalloy stem boring and used the ending tape from my Supacaz bar tape to add a stripe of colour on it.

How about some post-its so you can brainstorm your next forum threads?

@kayrehn

Yep! Seen that strip of tape done really, really well. Pink on black is especially good. Considering it now too, though maybe isn't suited to my frame :shock:

When it is warm and sunny, buy an ice cream and eat it while you are riding along. Let it dribble onto the top tube and dry. Do not ever wipe it off. Reminds you of when it was warm and sunny.

Place a piece of curved reflective mirror/plastic on the top tube with super glue. That way you can stare at your own mug while you ride.

Tape, mirrors, foil, ice-cream stains, post-its and a power-meter.

Was thinking of a little red cervelo 'e' to liven it up but you lot would have it looking like:

Love that Froome site btw!
