for someone his age who just had such a solid season, I'd say he has plenty reasons to give a shit about his last year - and I bet he does. of course getting paid extra doesn't hurt, and I wouldn't hold it against him.
it's funny he hasn't raced on discs before (or has he?) but perhaps it's not that much of a deal for him and the potential flat tire issues are topped by the numbers written on the check
