Good ride by Cannonade. It seems like they read my (harsh) comment after Flèche Wallonne.

All of the above is quite unimportant though, after Scarponi's unfortunate accident.

Yes I wish Kasia had a capable teammate
That would make for some better racing. But she is always alone at the end trying to take on two Dolmans teammates

Van Der Breggen & Deignan just take turns making her chase then pop. :noidea:

It seems that the 22 racers only for their "pursuit" race during the Tour is not a big deal. :) (As everybody will be there who counts.)

Was just going to post that second picture. Absolutely heartbreaking…

Caption reads “Frankje awaiting his master… I’ve never seen a sadder image in all my life.” I have to agree.

Now that Niewadoma or however you spell it is dating Phinney how long until her career *f##k* off a bit after showing promise?

let's hope dating a Cannondale rider is less destructive than riding in this team

besides falling in love and stuff often has negative effects - but on men...

Formola had a good ride. If he was a little more confident and launched a bit later, would make an interesting result.

Valverde making Gilbert's annus mirabilis look like an amateur effort.

It is hard to not be slightly skeptical of Valverde given his past, however he seems to be going from strength to strength. Amazing to watch.

One very odd phenomenon of modern pro-cycling is that NONE of the big names have tested positive in the past 4-5 years, yet the performances are up there. The odd thing is that doping offences are still common up-to and including the pro-conti level. Draw your own conclusions from that.

The thing that makes me skeptical is that he has always taken the stance of "I did nothing wrong".
