Sagan/Cav crash. For the GC... nothing. Absolutely nothing worth mentioning.

I hate to break it to you, but professional sporting teams/leagues that have sponsors are businesses first and foremost, and outlets for competition second. Their primary purpose is to make money, not necessarily to make fans happy.

That Landa looks stronger than Froome in the mountains. Landa works on his TT and he could win the Tour next year for Movistar.

Huh, TdF 2017 is to Froome, what TdF 2003 was to Armstrong. It has been an exciting race

GC Highlights

- Prologue crashes
- Aru's attack on Planches de Belles Filles
- Porte's crash on the Chat
- Froome cracking on the airfield in the Pyrenees
- Ag2r's team attacks and Froome's recovery from Mechanical
- A few great days of racing in the Alps, Izoard finish

It has been a good Tour and much better than the borefests of 2012-2016

- Prologue crashes ruining the race, no one wants to see GC contendors go down or be at a disadvantage because of a downpour..
- Aru got a handful of seconds on Froome in the closing meters of a 20% gradient climb, not too memorable especially considering how he dropped off from there
- Again, having GC favorites exiting the race early is not something favorable to the race
- Froome cracked and then finished at the same time as everyone else.. not memorable at all
- Same as above
- "great days of racing" == top 3 finish at the same time, aru drops down the ladder and is proven to be spent at this point. Not memorable

More intriguing than the others maybe if you consider them the standard, but still a borefest overall. Everyone pretty much knew Froome would win it when the GC blew up in Sky's favor after Stage 1.

Still pretty eyeroll-worthy to me for Froome to be a touch below invincible here when he was a complete dud at Dauphine a week before the Tour started

Have you got one of him unclipping after his turn was finished?

considering how close the times are it is interesting that I found the Giro much more thrilling.

Aru stalked Froome then moved into yellow a week after his win on PdBF.

According to many people here it's boring when Froome rides away from everyone... now it's boring when he can't?

Froome finished 1.33 down in the Dauphine after rolling the dice on a long range final stage attack and losing 1.36 after cracking on the last climb. It wasn't that bad. Plus, the Dauphine finished three weeks before the tour. Just a small difference...

How is any of this at all memorable? Froome loses yellow for like a day. Froome does the typical get-dropped-ride-tempo-catch up like he does in every race. Yes, a real knee slapper this Tour has been for the general classification. Will remember this one for years to come

Kwia actually stopped! That was at 4km to go. I just checked, he rolled in 62nd at 13:41. He deserves a beer - though he won't have one.

About 100%, unless one of them picks up an injury.

Landa TT's like a pig. Froome is by far the strongest rider at Sky anyone who thinks otherwise wasn't watching the first week.

Very enjoyable edition, those that weren't paying attention will say it was a Sky procession, clearly it wasn't but Froome's combination of strong TT, strong climbing and super strong team meant there really wasn't any completion.

Movistar and Astana were woeful. Ag2R way better than expectation and Sunweb sublime. Barguil was the rider of the tour for me with Kwiatkowski a close second for his sheer class.
