dj, nate, care to explain? Please help, I don't get it.

46 kg for 165 cm is not hyper skinny. My sister was 167/48 back when she did show jumping.

I'm guessing it's those etap looking shifters with the MSPaint censor job?

I had confirmation they are test-riding Sram Red Etap.
There might be a switch next season to Sram Etap.
Campagnolo is not in the picture.

From memory wasn't Quick Step buying their own Shimano, until FSA WE was available?

That Vias Disc with the Metron bars looks pretty sick.

I was thinking the same.
Probably there's some possible sponsor deal offer from Sram side.

Haha Keise's comment underneath the Etap questions "E what? It's not about the bike it's about the quote! Duh " Should have picked a different photo

Louis :)

She's fat! :O Last saturday there was a hill climb in Hungary, where 4th overall was a woman. 39kg, around 165cm. And in the final she lost 17 seconds to my male friend, who is 67kg and pushed 350W for the last 10 minutes.
And she used to be a fine attractive girl just a few years ago. It's sick, but W/kg really works. :(

I'm guessing Mara Abbott would have some sort of medal hanging in her trophy case if she weighed a couple kilos more.

Watching her flail along solo on the flat, get passed, and then roll in for fourth in Rio was one of the saddest things I've seen on a bike.

Mara has always been a pure climber...she laid down a great attack on the final climb of that race and built a big enough lead that she was almost able to take the gold.

If she weighed more, doubtful she would have put that kind of time into the field, and also doubtful those extra kilos would have translated to being able to hold off a chase group containing the strongest overall rider in the field and two trade-team teammates. Maybe, but doubtful.

When you say "saddest", are you suggesting it was pathetic...or are you feeling sympathy for an athlete who laid it all out there and came up meters short from winning a gold medal?

I know there is a demo bike here in NZ fitted with it. It's currently on review, but it should be coming around stores at some point...
