I'm hoping on Groenewegen to get his first real breakthrough win. With a 2nd and 3rd place this TDF already it's time for the top spot.

It would be nice to see some late solo attack or breakaway succeed on the last stage after many years.

TT course descent looks super technical, plenty of steep sections encouraging high velocity followed by sharp turns.

Nicely modulating disc brakes would help.... lol just kidding.

Long, long ago I did a sportive that started at the Stade Velodrome.

OMG Tony Martin sitting on the floor leaning against a vending machine waiting for his start. Pro cycling can "still have the feel of a village hall sometimes" says the commentator. Doesn't it just.

I am promoting a TT in UK tomorrow morning where HQ is a village hall. Village halls are great.

Bogan Oz style, 1°c with beer fire ipad.
Who else is thinking it would pe poetic for Froomedog to have a blatantly apparent mechanical tonight with no-one to wait for him after his last couple of questionable ones.....Image

Until you've got sixty lads who all decide they need a dump thirty minutes before the start of a road race and there's only one loo...

Almost in Annecy 2009 form!

This is a fantastic venue for the start and finish, particularly the cheer the riders are getting as they finish.
