Solid and even great rides by JV's boys in BE, ES and IT, respectively. Well deserved.

Neither was the word you might have been looking for.

I'm not sure disappointment is the right word. I'd say they were both over-hyped. Both touted to be the next big thing without doing anything really all that big. They're both great riders but they're peloton fodder in my opinion. They will win a rare race here and there but the won't be among the greats.

Naesen is really flying this year and most importantly, he's not afraid to try his chances (yesterday he knew the other 2 were faster but he tried an early sprint anyway) like many others do.

Yes great ride, he needs to stop going through so soon though. Greg was getting short turns thanks to him!

naesen was really strong, but imho he went a little too early , basically a standing start from 225m out based on what i saw. He was in pole position at the back

@spartan, not really fair to Phinney, though. A crash like that isn't easy to come back to your best level from. If he is anything like his father and his amazing mother, he'll be back...

Agree and Phinney had huge motivation problems prior this season. Part due crash and other due team.

Naesen is GvA's training partner, it was just a solid lead out ;)

Anyone know what happens at Volta Catalunya that Froome missed the first group?

No, that's Lance.

umm needs people like Phinney? What does he actually do in races post accident? There are thousands of hipsters that are doing things that were cool in Brooklyn 10 years ago on Instagram you can follow if that is your thing.
Don't take me too seriously. The only person that doesn't hate Froome.

Pro cycling is definitely clean now.

Really.

No, really.

Really really really.
