wingguy- not flying for me tho most of my friends do. Spring is usually ski touring time but today was just straight powder so took the easy choice!
kingtom- Plaine Joux up from Passy/Sallanches, that's the east shoulder of mt Blanc in the pic. It's the perfect early season climb round here as south facing and a nice steady 6-7%, rinse and repeat!

Back in the UK at the weekend, saw some wild animals...
And some slightly less wild ones
Also, borrowed my girlfriend's mum's bike. With a few adjustments it almost fit
Then back to France this week. Running out of easy tarmac KOMs to pinch so went looking for some Strade Bianche

So, that photo was taken on Eagle Rock Blvd about a 1/4 mile south of Eagle Rock in Glassell Park. Eagle Rock is so hot these days that developers and realtors market many of the adjacent (lower income) communities as Eagle Rock. Just before the banner went up, a homeless encampment was cleared from the sidewalk. A rising tide...
I was in Eagle Rock yesterday and drove by Occidental. Eagle Rock is part of my regular loop as I live a few miles away. Fun fact: Occidental's first location was first located in Boyle Heights (my hometown).
My sister was heartbroken as she had her heart set on Occidental but they only accepted one kid from her tiny girls' school.

Calnago, it's in hibernation at the moment due to a dispute with a local shop. Looooooooooooooong story.
PM me if you're interested in the details. Could save you some future heartache.
