Wow looks fantastic!
But is it not too dangerous with the ice/ snow on the roads?

With 32mm tires and a low tire pressure it is quite alright as long as you stick to the roads which have been treated with de-icing salt. The biggest issue was Speedplay cleats clogged with snow which makes it very hard to pedal.
And if I ever meet an aardvark, I'm going to step on its damn protruding nasal implement until it couldn't suck up an insect if its life depended on it.

Its not dangerous. Thats how you will learn to ride/handle a bike. Of course crashes happen, but its life here, where people have real winter.

Yes that's a good one! As a child I learned to ride a bicycle in Paris with all the traffic. More dangerous than the winter in Estonia....  Only the best survive! Hello Mr. Darwin....

Seriously I am always very surprised how do you guys come to a sport like road biking? I would have guessed that you do more like hockey etc...

So, the Tour down Under is approaching and we are well into summer. Did a part of the loop for the Sportive ride for Stage 4 (the pics are taken near Tungkillo & Lobethal). Was a great day out with a max of 28 degrees C, but may be much hotter come race day !!

Ride will be 168km (home to home) with just over 2,300m of climbing.

Some of the roads in the Adelaide hills are great. Some areas were star  ting to brown up a little (wet & cool start to summer), but currently 38 deg C :unbelievable:

Well it doesn't look cold on the pics! I would have believed it is more like 75F.

No no, that’s the thing with Mallorca. You get both hills and flat. One day hills next day flatland.
