Explored some closed roads in the mountains last weekend not far from Tokyo.

^exactly my kind of roads :thumbup:

I simply love those forest and mountain back roads with absolutely no traffic and no signs of civilization (apart from the road itself) whatsoever.

Hit the mountain early with high temps yesterday and today at 115F (46C), by 8am it was already over 80F (26.6C) with smokey conditions from wildfires hundreds of miles away, but it made for some nice light

Pretty much the same moment during a hail storm in a recent race (Tortour). From hot to being pelted in a couple of minutes :-)
