I was in Eagle Rock yesterday and drove by Occidental. Eagle Rock is part of my regular loop as I live a few miles away. Fun fact: Occidental's first location was first located in Boyle Heights (my hometown).
My sister was heartbroken as she had her heart set on Occidental but they only accepted one kid from her tiny girls' school.
