I have the original mount from my 810. Upon closer look.. It seems something like a GoPro mount count be screwed into here?

But didn't see any options from garmin for that.

Just trying to see if I can get the bottom part instead of buying a kEdge.

Thx.Image

You might be able to make it work, What are the center-to-center dimensions of the holes?

Here is how it might work.
If it's 20 mm you can use a K-Edge combo interface and two flat head screws, Remove the Garmin mount, put the screws in from the top and replace the garmin mount. Attach the K-Edge interface to the now exposed threads on the bottom of your mount. Use nuts to secure it.

If that doesn't work then PM me and maybe look at this thread, I might be able to help you out.

Yup that's what I ended up using... K edge XL mount.

But too bad the virb battery life sucks... I'd be lucky if I can get 45mins even with all the features turned off

You can use a K-Edge gopro mount. I had to drill another hole and get screws/nuts to make it work. I want to say it's 20mm between the holes.

I tried to use gamin and gopro, but I hesitated to hang out.
It is said that sometimes it drops because of the weight of the heavy weight.
