Question for the guys within the industry on here.
How do you manage your workshop workflow?
What check-in processes do you use? Are you paperless, do you use Google Calendar or something similar?
We currently use Google Calendar to manage bookings, and then when the customer arrives we use a excel spreadsheet to fill in any work required on specific parts of the bike and then print that and into the relevant daily draw for the two mechanics to work on.

When I started at the current shop I'm at, they were using paper filing. It was a mess. Recommended swapping to the system I'd had at my old workplace.
Swapped over about 2 months ago. The POS we're now using has a repair section, that allows timetabling, as well as job details and any charges. Super handy for notes and customer details. Takes seconds to look up customer history and notes from previous repairs.
