Hi all

Looking for a new high-end road helmet that is not too wide physical. The models I have tried so far just seems very wide on my head. My head is circa 55 cm.

Any recommendations?

I've found that specialized helmets have a more oval shape to the head, if that's what you're asking for
Here's an interesting article I found that confirmed what I thought, give it a shot http://www.bikeradar.com/au/road/gear/a ... ing-42380/

LG Course...very compact helmet.
I have a 54.5 ish head and tried on the Rivale...in the smallest size, it still fitted very large and low on the head.
Currently using Mavic's SLR Ultimate and CXR helmet. Slighly bigger but outstanding fit for my melon.

My Kask Protone looks pretty minimal on my head. I have a large head.

Stay away from the air attack :-) It's quite wide.

Tempted by the LG Course.
Does one know an online dealer within EU?
Just tried Evans and apparently they don't ship this helmet to Denmark.

Catlike Mixino

1. It is small and very adjustable

2. The best ventilated helmet I have tried

3. Because the direction of the vent holes often sun does not hit your head so it is cooler and if you do not have to much hair you will not look like a zebra ;-) and thus you do not need a head cup.

4. Very light.

Of course each of us will have our own bias.

Kabuto Koofu. Pretty narrow for my asian head. plus it's pretty light on the wallet also.

I have a Uvex Ultrasonic, very neat and tidy looking helmet with minimal additional width at the sides so you dont end up looking like a mushroom.
