Not really much use if training with HR or power.

It's like changing speedo on a custom built motorcycle.
I love it!
Question is if it feels relevant after 1-3 months?
Many things just seems super important when i do a new build.
Afterwards, looks and less smart ideas just fades.
Still, this is very nice....

Wing, i was just thinking about something similar.
The LCD is easier to read, so it's a bit tough to say if it looks darn good like this, but kind of feels less smart when actually "in use"!?
That is probably the question i would need to answer (for) myself.

You can get an analog display for your Gamin with an "app".

Can you please elaborate? I'm not aware of any app for Garmin units.

Wow, I had no idea. I've been a Garmin user for almost a decade now and never saw this. Have the 1000 so must check out.
Thanks!

I accidentally read the name as OMERTA at first.
The retro look appeals to me, and the simplified data screen as well, but I have to admit trying to quickly determine how fast I am going when careening downhill is a lot easier in digital. And arguably safer.
I'll keep my eye on this one though, awaiting version 2.0...

$500 for a speedo that is still vaporware? I had to swallow hard to pony up $400 for a Garmin.
Holy shit I didn't even see the price. $500 for a device with no ANT+, no Bluetooth, no compatibility whatsoever with any secondary sensors, is the size of an actual housebrick and no adjustibility of display fields. Yeah, that's beyond stupid

I don't think its meant to be a serious training aid, just a nice thing to put on a nice bike, maybe an older bike on a more leisurely ride. I'm fairly sure they'll do very nicely with it, I'd love one but too pricey for me as yet.
