So we're heading down to Disney World in few weeks. Are there any bike shops or bike related spots to visit in the area? No need to be WW specific, but good enough to drag two little ladies away from Disney.

I would say there is no special bikeshop around the area that deems a visit. If you want to ride, head over to Clermont/Winter Garden.

The Winter Garden "downtown" strip is pretty nice if you need a place to hang out with the family for a few hours.

Second the opinion above. Nothing worth spending 5 min to go see or do as far as shops go.

I think Orange Cycle is a fairly good shop, with a good inventory. Tijuana Flats is across the street which has surprisingly good food, and nice outdoor eating area. As mentioned above, Clermont is the place for riding. For tourism, Winter Garden.

Check out Winter park cycles. Nice high end goods and next door is B3 cafe. Everything on the menu is cycling inspired. Kick ass coffee and food. Really cool spot. Across the street is ace metric cycles (closed mondays). Kinda hipster but ran by a really good guy. Lots of brooks, Chris king, cadence kits, silca pumps, steel is real in that store. Really nice eye candy. From Kissimmee it's about a 30 min drive to the Princeton exit just past downtown Orlando. Its definitely worth the short drive for lunch. Lots of construction so if you go during the week go between 10am-1pm. If you have any other questions shoot me a PM. Orange cycle has lots of inventory but just off the rack specalized goods and other generic kit. Nothing worth stopping for.

Ended up doing 0 bike related stuff. However, there appeared to be fair bit of bike lanes, but I saw literally no cyclists and found it odd. Our next winter vacation will be either Maui or California....screw this non-cycling shirt.

And BTW, Disney was quite a let down for me. Much more excited about 'gators in the lakes at the resort.

Gotta go to universal. Disney is only fun if you go to epcot and drink around the world. Planning on that this Sunday. No one rides in the Disney / Kissimmee area. We do have a lot of bike lanes and lots of great rails to trails.

Felt the same way when we were there over New Year staying on the SW side of Orlando. Not one rider anywhere. Visited one Mike's Bikes stop but it was a cookie cutter trek store with nothing to recommend it. Definitely want to go somewhere with a bigger bike culture next time!
