Great photo - if for no other reason (and Im well aware this is my own ignorance) than had you asked me to guess where that photo was taken, Istanbul would not have been in my first 1000 guesses.

Nah, you are right. The city is full of ugly buildings but we still have some rare parts like this.

Convict 100.. Thursday evening thought this would be a great idea to show up to on Saturday morning, turns out I'm in better form than I expected. 4h53min to cover the 100km route.
Bar the 20km section of overgrown crap smashing you in the face this was a great day out

i was in harpers ferry, WV for a friends bachelor party and while everyone was sleeping their hang overs away, i was exploring. WV has some truly great roads quality wise and topographically!

Wow - those pictures are incredible. My little sister lives near Alexandria and I've yet to bring the bike over there. Hopefully sometime this year. I'd love to explore some of those areas.

harpers ferry is a pretty neat place. not too far from DC area (without traffic) about 1.5hr drive! it was drizzling like 3 hours of my 4 hour ride, so i didn't get to use my camera as much on the road.
