Great pictures! I love riding in SM and Malibu. Are you happy with the picture quality of the Go Pro?
Thanks...I like it so far. It's my first GoPro and I know nothing about photography, so I can't really compare it to anything or give a worthwhile review. It's great as far as ease of use, etc. I haven't had any battery issues so far, either (no removable battery in this one).
Nice Sunday ride today... a lap of Lake Wairarapa (New Zealand). Took the girlfriend out for her second ever road ride and just enjoyed myself along the way. To her credit, those two rides have been 67km and now 81km which is pretty impressive for a complete beginner.
Nice bike... you ever take it off any sweet jumps?

Not really today, but been to the Alpes around Bourg D'Oisans a few weeks back. Was supposed to ride the Marmotte but due to some injuries earlier this year and some health issues I decided not to ride the Marmotte but just climb some mountains instead.
Galibier, with still some snow on the top. For the Marmotte they had to go thru the tunnel due to a collapsed snow wall.
Was some Porsche gathering in Valloire that day, whole town full with Porsches
Lacets de Montvernier, after Lacets we continued the climb to Col de Chaussy.
Glandon and Croix de Fer.
Made a gopro video of the Col d'ornon downhill. Was pretty busy there as the Marmotte was coming up.

Final ride for the guys before the Marmotte was a "supposed to be" easy ride, first we did Les Deux Alpes and then we went for the Balcony route to La Garde on the Alpe d'Huez. The climb to Auris was a bit harder then expected, but the result was a beautiful view over the valley around Bourg d'Oisans.
It turned out to be lucky for 1 of our guys that I didn't ride the marmotte because his rear derailleur hanger broke on 1/3rd of the Glandon. So I had to pick him up, saw some other guys with bike problems. Took 1 extra guy down to Bourg for a bike fix and another guy broke his wheel and borrowed the wheel from 1 of them. I still got no idea how he managed to break his wheel like this while climbing the Glandon.

What happened?

@JamieL That's an amazing photo!
@ The questions about the wheel. I got no idea what happened. I just went up there to pick up a friend with a broken rear derailleur hanger. You don't wanna know how many people I saw up the Glandon whose's Marmotte already ended so soon with bike problems. This guy stood there with his bike so we decided to ask what was up. Turned out he was asking for a wheel because his wheel was broken. Friend of mine knew what it felt like to be done with the Marmotte so early, so the guy could borrow his wheel and continue. But it was all uphill till then, so I don't know, maybe a stone (unlikely) or he had to avoid someone else and ended in the ditch.

Did the Barcelonette-loop (Allos-Champs-Cayolle) in late June. Lovely. Pictures are not mine. Credited in the article, though.

KGT, Central Greece, who knew? I would never have pictured the terrain looking like this. Great!
