In a complete contrast to kevhogaz's sunny Arizona. It was a wet and cold day yesterday in the Wairarapa region of New Zealand...

Had a fun ride along Glendora Mountain Road and Crystal Lake over the weekend...much hotter than anticipated with essentially zero cover on the way up Crystal Lake.

^ Yes, I know that 3M sticker at the head tube is hideous. I put it on a few days ago because I lost the rubber cable housing I had on previously. Yes, the sticker has since come back off...

Cheers! Nah, they're a mix of GoPro Hero 3+ Black and a Panasonic Lumix FT5 waterproof point and shoot.

I had a work reunion get-together at the weekend in the place in France that I worked in for a while in the 90s, Ferney-Voltaire near Geneva. I took a bike and went a couple of days early.

On the plane into Geneva, that's Bellegarde bottom right, I cycled through there the next day. M Blanc massif in the background.

Weather was quite chilly with a lot of cloud and some hazy sun. This is the Pont Carnot over the Rhone.

At La Croisette on the Saleve above Geneva. That road up from Collonges-sous-Saleve is steep and twisty and quite the challenge in both directions. Down is funner.

Nice. My GF at uni was from there. I took my bike over in the summer of '98. I had no bike box, so it was dismantled and wrapped up in bits of cardboard.

Love that West Head loop, one of my favorite rides in Sydney. Looks like an absolutely stunning day for it!

Great performances on Sunday, Jamie. Especially to turn the tables and take Bec so convincingly.

First time I'd ridden Catford. I did 7.7W/Kg and was 20 seconds off your time! - what the hell were you pushing?? :unbelievable:

Catford not so much, Bec was probably somewhere between 10 and 11W/Kg, depending on which scales i use :-)

11 for 1:45?!?!

:faint: :faint: :faint: :faint:

I set a new 1min PB of 10.7 last week (which is partially why I was somewhat underwhelmed with my result), and going off the Coggan power chart I thought that was OK. Your numbers are just nuts.
