First ride after the wee bit of snow on the Eastern bits of the US this weekend. Studded tires on the commuter. Lots of fun and lots of work.

Not really an on the road pic, but one I've wanted to take for a while and it's on my "easy rolling" route...

Anyways, pic of my BH Ultralight taken at site of the former Grantham service-station, in a town that 5 years ago was all but washed away during in the 2011 floods, this building is one of very few that survived that night and remains a pseudo memorial to the town. :?

Wound up 3rd today. 88km total with the ride out to race.

Peg legged half way through the sprint today and couldn't stand. Almost thought I'd crashed when they locked. Sat down again to pedal screaming at my legs to turn to the line.

Not the best conditions in the Washington DC area yet, but at least it is all melting. Can be navigated, preferably with lightly studded tires and a wee bit of patience.

@grouk... a wee bit muddy? :P

Afternoon ride today - splendid weather here in the DC area, even if the snow has not yet melted...
