Wow, Nice catch prendrefeu

I used to live in Hood River.

I loved the fact that I could go skiing/snowboarding in the morning, go wakeboarding/kiteboarding/windsurfing in the afternoon, and ride my bike in the evening. All on the same day.

I still dream of the trails there. Amazing area.

Hood River is a dream place to live. I love the ride from HR to Timberline, then back... the back is the best!
Let's finish the ride with a 20% grade.

yep, snowing here too - good job kingtom
just to pass the time, I saw this cyclosportive http://www.laresistance.cc/event/parcours-et-carte/ out of Talloires-Annecy, on September 26.
For those who like these events, it includes 2 of the best climbs around here, col de l'Arpettaz and col des Glières. The 14 km gravel stretch from Arpettaz to col des Aravis is pretty rough, choose your tires wisely - but has the best views of Mt Blanc range.

Basilic.. Your images are totally unrealistic.. Terrible terrible photos that demonstrates how inadequate the rest of our riding locale's are. Where's the grungy streets.. Polluted bays... B-doubles trying to run you down on highways.

Needless to say we all envy and hate you at the same time... Keep up the good work.

That's just ridiculous. Who takes a dslr out on a ride?[emoji13]

I'm just jealous. I would be out riding everyday if I've scenery of this sort around here.

We have the opposite problem; it's been too warm to ride during the day so getting out before it gets too warm is a must and I'm still adjusting to the humidity particularly down in the valley where I live (we moved here a few months ago)... Anyways pic of the bike against a local "graf wall" after I glued some new tubs on my race wheels. :smartass:

There are some cool graffiti walls in Toowoomba...
