Unnecessary TUE's is like a legalized, permited use of enhance performance drugs. Is it doping; no? Is it cheating, yes? Sky are liers; of course they are.

Welcome to pro-cycling.

No point trying to explain to some posters. The science shows 100% that riders are doping even the BBC showed the huge advantage of doping and how its just not possible for riders like porte to beat a juiced up Armstrong's times up the madone. They just ignore the evidence, the science and really believe that its down to special socks or soft pillows.

Armstrong -Ferrari
Froome - Leinders

Armstrong - tue for corts
Froome - tue for corts

Armstrong and froome have equally similar climb times

Sky are in the exact , near enough, scenario as Armstrong and postal only difference is that sky sometimes burn off some of the best climbers around with 4-6 riders in their train.
They are just a inquisitive journalist away from a bigger down fall than postal

Respond to the post in this digital demimonde without insults would be nice but I'm not sure the xena haters can do that

Have they used them before?

I have only seen them use the Bora Ultra 50 or 80.

Also used them in the ITT:

In the TDF they where still using Bora's: (maybe bad example, since no discwheel either, but it was from the longer TT)

On another note: Marginal gains? The team car of BMC was never more then 1 car length behind the riders in this TTT

I have been critical of the dude in the past but definitely interested to see how Morton goes if he is in fact headed to europe/DiDa.

Likewise. Wish him all the best. Hope he figures it out and sticks with it.

Wiggo and Sky just got slammed on BBC NEWSNIGHT.

Wiggo giving a interview on the political show Sunday morning.

The walls are closing . The fact they a desperately trying to defend this BS Just like some of the posters is unbelievable and huge hypocrisy.
Their whole ethos was about clean cycling and now the lies and BS is falling all around them.

Wiggo will be more hated than Armstrong.

I don't care about the doping its the " I could not look into my kids eyes " BS

" No smoking gun"

Spent a few days reflecting on Wiggins.

I think there are more similarities than differences when compared to LA:

-Incredible devotion + natural raw talent
-Successful career as non-GT rider
-TUE fueled transformation to GT rider
-First TDF victory following EPO fallout
-National hero transforming cycling in home country
-TDF run cut short by teammate (Froome, Contador)

A few differences:

-LA was younger in first TDF win (27 vs 32, how many TDFs would Wiggins have won if he changed his career trajectory (TUE weight loss program) earlier?)
-LA was an intolerable dick vs Wiggins normal levels of dick (I think this is the key difference in court of public opinion)
-LA has admitted to doping vs Wiggins denying all wrong-doing

Anyways, I'm sure y'all can pick my thoughts apart...but it's hard not to think of LA the way Wiggo is in the news now.

There's two possible scenario's, either a fabrication by fancy bear, or an administrative stuff up by UCI/WADA. I would say the second is more likely.

please, just legalize doping and be done with it already. how long can we put up with this soap opera. this is same piece of crap over and over again:

1. accusations (or a constant rampage like in case of LA, Froome...)
2. desperate, often heart touching defense, deny till you die...
3. proving/admission of guilt

timeframe's differ, arguments are more or less fancy (bad steak, grandma's sweets, passing all the tests) but all in all it's like the same episode on the loop. Lance might've been a world class douche, Wiggo's possibly a nice dude, Froome might seem like a brainless tool*, but they all fall into same reality which constitutes professional sport. it's only our perception of them that differs

*to be clear: I'm refering to the interviews (esp one with his wife/gf/whatever) in which he acted like he had no clue about anything
