I've been reading Londres' reports from TdF 1924 again. No want for vehicle incidents back then either.

Honest and open words from Woods regarding his mediocre result at the Fleche Wallone.
"I was on his wheel, but, no matter the excuse, when it came down to it I didn’t have the balls or the willpower to follow. Had I stayed on Clarke’s wheel I would have had the perfect run in to the Mur but instead I sat in about position 35 as we began the ascent."
Good column again. http://www.cyclingnews.com/blogs/author ... he-fleche/

I asked Betancur's coach too about his overweight. With a knowing laugh, he answered: "Overweight happens when a person ingests more calories than he spends".

Talking about disc brakes. Not sure if I missed a post but, apparently they making a comeback to the peloton?
"Perhaps the most impactful finding is that a forensic medical doctor — albeit one commissioned by the WFSGI — has concluded that Ventoso’s gruesome injury was most likely caused by a chainring, not a disc brake rotor"
