It was Marco Fertonani, who was in similar position as Cecchini, but 10 years younger and turned pro at 28 years old.
He was caught for testoterone in 2007.

I don't mind him, however, when I asked him this question he bristled a little

I really don't see how his point stands when he only provides speed data. As for the strawman 'buy me a SRM'. Please, Phil. Come back to me. I've read your book. You ran a SRM when you were living off the bones of your ass. Don't claim now you can't afford one (or a HR strap).

I keep going on about this but the guy is just so thirsty and inconsistent with his ivory towerishness. Continues to tweet about 'cleaning up Strava' but then defends guys like Danielson and Dekker to Myerson of all people on the grounds of "we're bros and they were friendly when I was on Garmin for a year". Phil didn't respond when I suggested he should go for Mt. Lemmon....

It looks like he's goofing on Lance. The back in LA photo is modeled after the one Lance posted.

I'm guessing with him being out of a contract in less than 30 days he's doing all he can to create some kind of stir in hopes of landing a job somewhere. Maybe he can create a gofundme page where guys can pay him to take KOMs on their behalf.

I don't care for his approach to the Strava KOM righting. I get it, thorfin is bad, but so are other guys that he's defending. That's been said a few times already, but between his little barbs at the euro scene, Horner, and so on I find the whole show obnoxious. Just fade away.

Lance and thorfin = bad dopers

His mates and team mates that doped = good dopers

He's a tool.

Why does this not surprise me in the least.

It's clear from the files he strips the power data.

With today's report, changes forthcoming in the women's Olympic podium?

I know -- it's all a conspiracy, the same conspiracy which put forth the lie that Russia was behind Wikileaks in the US election.

Those shoes!
Haven't seen him wearing a Tinkoff jersey since the season ended. Looks like he wasn't a fan of Tinkoff.
