Triple the curse, it would seem for her. Hope she gets her spirits back for next season.
It doesn't surprise me that Canyon-SRAM would look for her. She is very talented, and that team is resourceful. But beyond that and seemingly more than any other women's team, Canyon-SRAM cares about their team "optics" if you will. Their social media presence leans heavily on a few specific riders.

^Reading the article on the woes of PFP and things she's said earlier (e.g. her Lizzie rants) I guess she'd have great benefits from consulting a (sports) psycologist, and to listen, LEARN and implement suggestions. Sometimes a hard head can be too hard.
Just like the French to quit when things get hard.

haha karsten is my hero for validating my sagan flat comments with that insta video!
Bertie just can't stay upright these days. Bertie definitely slowing down on the bend. He knows its bonkers at the part of the race and should have kept his speed at least till the road went straight . Its been a bad year for my fav rider so far.

Contador should just retire.
Contador on a minimal micro-dosing program is a shadow of the rider he used to be.
A fully lubed up Contador would have powered through that corner with no one touching him.

His mojo just seems off. Is it adams/passport/micro dosing? He's had some amazing days and obviously won grand tours since, but he's been a different rider since 2010.
He was great in 2014. The early part of that season before the tour crash he was nearly as good as his very best.
It came after a really bad 2013. But the last 2 years He has had mixed performances. He won the mountain TT at the Dauphine a few months ago and then faded. Maybe its age and endless tours catching up on him.
Bertie loves to race and win so maybe he can come back again like 2014. He must feel he can but a lot of athletes, boxers especially go on to long.
I hope I am wrong and he turns things around
He has tough stages coming up in the next few days, No crash recovery he will do well not to bleed to much time. I think he will though. Bad time to crash if your going to crash.
I just don't want to see my fav rider chasing stage wins next year. Its not fitting for such a great rider IMO.

I think the whole Tinkoff team dynamic is off. Seems to be affecting Sagan and Bertie.

can a folding team not be 'off'? anyway, judging from what Bodnar says (and he hangs with Sagan) everyone's just focused on their job and leaves the BS aside. I haven't seen any dent in their performacne save for Berties' mishaps, they've won plenty this season and I'm sure it's just Condtador having issues.. age, motivation, health, I dunno, but he indeed appears to be a shadow of himself
