no it doesnt. given Sags' actually a pretty inteligent animal, I wouldnt be surprised if this whole clown like dress wasnt a sign of disregard towards UCI and their crush with the sheikhs.
normally a person dressed like that on an official gala would look just stupid. but given it's kinda showbiz after all and the fact the whole idea of the event was to make the sheikhs feel special, I'd say his fashion statement was in par with the whole thing
and I bet if Cipo was still riding he wouldve worn some gold plated tux or smth to that party. it's the forementioned lack of personality that bothers me more than some petty frivolities like that.

what bothers me, is we are talking about how an athlete is dressing at a party.
I would rather leave out any non-race related thing.

You sure? Would make him quite a few kgs lighter than Froome - at the same height...
And 'only' 330-350w at something close to that weight IS a powerhouse.
The danish amateur rider and TT national champion strikes again. 3rd in Chrono des Nations today. Only beaten by no 2 and 3 from the WC. I know the lineup isn't impressive, but he beat Ryan Mullen who made 5th at WC.
If you ever doubted his 61 kg's compared to Froomes 67 kg's, then just check his legs and compare them to Froomes....

And only for 24 hours.
Aqua blue sport...we know the riders, but what about equipment? Bikes, groupsets, wheels etc.? any news?

Fair to say he might not be able to claim 'amateur' for much longer. Impressive.
