How often do those stacked teams implode?

Sky's team is stronger IMO mainly because I have a feeling Aru/Nibali ain't gunna work well in practice.

I kinda hope it doesn't work because it should be fun to watch the fight
Sky's squad looks better this year than last - only two rouleurs, the rest all capable of climbing well. I assume they were nervous about being isolated in the final week again.

True. You just need the right doctor.
Very much depends on the type of collar bone fracture and location. If it is a simple fracture which can be easily pinned then he could be back training very soon.
The Sky team looks very heavily stacked in favour of climbers. Really hope we get a couple of days with cross-winds and echelons to put them to the test...

Damn, pick a team of diesel engines and it's "boring, boring" pick a team of climbers and it's "Aha! Good luck getting beaten up in the echelons!" Is it possible for them to do anything right in your eyes?
Anyway, Stannard's got to be one of the best out there for that sort of job, Rowe's backing him up and Thomas should still be able to multitask enough to put a decent shift in on the flat if he needs to.

Riding ANY bike with a broken collarbone is hard enough in itself. If you're referring to Hamilton and Fuentes, drugs aside, finishing a GT, let a lone winning a stage and his high overall placing - with a broken collarbone - and minimal allowed pain releif, is f*cken legendary. Doped to the gills or not, that ride deserves the credit it is due
Look at these 4-5 photos of Quintana. Anyone know if these shoe covers Quintana is wearing are team issue or is he wearing some other brand of perhaps sponsored shoes underneath? One of the pictures you can see the ankle area of the shoe cover is really loose, like the shoe is really big because there is a considerable gap between his achilles and heal cup and front of the shoe.

True, whatever else he did, that ride was epic.
For Zakarin though if it was a simple break it shouldn't have stopped him training much. You can be back on the turbo straight away and out on the road pretty soon, right?
remember, riding the turbo after an injury is the new beet root juice.
