Riccardo Riccò - bartender.

At least that's what he said was his life's ambition after he quit cycling. Then he attempted a cycling comeback and got a 12 year ban.

Maybe instead of serving alcoholic beverages, he should answer his true life calling, serving PEDs. Based on personal experience, he knows what the good stuff is, as does any good bartender.

I'm pretty sure he was working in a "bar," as in an Italian caffè. That is generally what they mean when they say bar or barman or bartender. In the States, we'd call it a barista.

According to Wikipedia Mark Scanlon is now a prison officer at Castlerea Prison Co. Roscommon in the Republic of Ireland.

Possibly the most unknown former pro that will be mentioned on this thread. He holds a special place in my memory because he was the sole Irishman in the 2004 Tour when myself and three university pals and fellow countrymen spent six weeks cycling around France on mountain bikes modified as touring bikes and met up with the Tour at the Col du Forclaz on an epic stage to Le Grand Bornand. To think there were no Brits in that years Tour. Oh how times change, sorry to bring up superfluous details, but I love jogging my memory of that summer.

Forgive me, I don't read Italian real well. Does that say that PEDs are or are not included in the package deal?

He should be a goodwill ambassador for Amgen. In any event, he was one of its best customers.

@ RankAmateur - delighted to say Mark's back on a bike and frequently taking part in MTB races. I bumped into him recently when he was riding one promoted by my club. He looks lean again.... would love to see him back on a road bike.

The most logical is riding holidays, for example: http://bikecamp-mallorca.com/our-team, trek tours also uses quite a lot of ex pros.
Ive a mate who went on a "Giant" branded one and got to ride with Herras and I think Beloki.
