I just weighed the leg hair I managed to fish out of the bath. Damp so simulating a rainy day.

10g. More aero, weight loss. Free (wear and tear on wife's razors excluded).

Win :D

And then you may fall on the ground (I am not wishing it to you) and realize the benefits. Or just when taking a shower after ride. I have never ever shaved my legs because of loosing weight, even to be aero - these are two misconception everyone outside of cycling think and laughs about.

I just shave my legs for the looks. Do you need any more reason than that?

Lots of justifications, but ultimately for most I suspect it's all about image.

Didn't Specialized prove in their wind tunnel that it actually has a rather significant aero benefit...

Yes, they also found out that hair removal on arms also reduces drag

Not to mention that sunscreen/sunblock is way easier to apply.
Skin colour is more even, as the hairs on the lower part of the leg isn't blocking the sun.
