Tips for a really cool custom bike part.

Hi guys.
One of my best cycling buddies are turning 40 in the autumn.
We friends have a budget around 600 Euros/800 USD for a fitting present.
As a rider is he is a fit longdistance rider who has all the bikes and wheels that he needs....
We would like to get him somethng really cool and custom made that is cycling related. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The unbearable wallet lightness of being a weightweenie
Hmm... That's a tough one. Does he also do all his own work on his bicycles?... in which case it might open up the choice to some cool tools that he may not have. If he doesn't really do his own wrenching but you think he might like to, then a nice selection of tools that are applicable to his bikes would be really cool.

i'd pick a custom upholstered saddle. with this budget you can buy the model he uses and you should still be able to get it tuned. one of my buddies sent his Kit Carbonio to a car tuner and got a very nice alcantara leather done for the price of ~150 EU

Depending weather he's a WW or not and what saddle he likes,
Berk seatpost/seat combo is real nice, as an example. Stem/bar combo too but I have not tried it.
There's a member here who does custom Garmin etc. mounts which are well under budget.
Custom/moldable shoes are a good idea too as mentioned above.
Chris.

Two 20 year old hot babes who cycle. Not sure if that fits in your budget.
Full carbon seatpost-saddle or stem-handlebar combo is a nice idea.

carbon jockey wheels. Some nice light alloy bolts or Ti . Carbon bar plugs. Powercordz.

If he is a campy guy buy him the Corkscrew, I consider that an awesome gift. You say he has everything bike related so it is tough to buy him something cool he doesnt have already, so that could be an option. Another not so expensive, cool gift would be a custom headset cap from Kapz, with his name on it.

How about one of the "new" silca floor pumps! Saddles, bars , bike parts in general, are far too personal.
