None of the big climbs like those to the East of Grenoble but a beautiful area - full of Michelin 3 star rated roads!
Unfortunately the Combe Laval was the one road I couldn't ride when there in 2011, as the road was completely closed for roadworks...

thanks guys; it is a nice area, out of the way. As dalai says, not so high, so suitable for spring/fall riding.
The road in the gorges de la Bourne has been resurfaced recently

I second that. My ride routes are ugly as sin compared to these...

Typical BC nitpicking, no wonder racing almost died in this country!
Cycling Australia have the same policy. I don't see a real issue with it - given the abundance now of plain kit.
Basilic - what camera are you using please? Stunning shots (as always).

thanks all - I wish I could take credit for the landscapes of doulce France, and for its incredible network of insignificant paved roads. Sometimes you ride for an hour or 2 without seeing a car and wonder why they put a road there.
Tinea, I use a panasonic lx5 (a couple generations old)

They're ready for Le Tour in the Maurienne valley! Did a partial Etape recon w the wife yesterday, holy smokes it was hot, 38C/100F. If it's like that on the day, over half won't finish. I went easy and still felt like my head was going to explode.

Nothing like France... but pleasant riding all the same.
Riding in the Low Country (South Carolina)...
By the ocean...
New bike shot just because... (stem tower will go away eventually, still figuring things out)
Road bike: Cervelo R3, Campagnolo Chorus/Record mix...
Supercommuter: Jamis Renegade...
Oldie but goodie: De Rosa Professional Slx, Campagnolo C-Record...
And you can call me Macktastik Honey Pete Kicks, thank you.
