Sorry  If it makes it any better, it was a brisk 50˚F on my ride to work this morning...and kind of windy!

A guy rides by my house every morning and even today as it was -7 F with a wind chill of -20 F.
I'm drinking my hot cocoa from inside my house. :smartass:
I never took drugs to improve my performance at any time. I will be willing to stick my finger into a polygraph test if anyone with big media pull wants to take issue. If you buy a signed poster now it will not be tarnished later. --Graeme Obree

You guys definitely have "real" winter over there. Coldest it has been so far in "LA Winter Land" is around 43F low / 55F high.

They'd have to pay me to ride before I do anything like that.

Better than the subway thanks to Patagonia jacket and some warm boots.

How many miles are you commuting each way?

Beautiful roads, Basilic. Your pictures make me want to get out and ride. I spent a few days in Zurich this past autumn and took the train down to Chur and then crossed the Alps on the Bernina Express. I was amazed at the uncrowded roads and great riding in Switzerland.

thanks Vagabond. Next time rent a bike and stay for a few days in the Engadine, surrounded by nice passes (Julier, Albula, Fluela, Fuorn, Bernina, Maloja, plus all the italian passes just across the border)
