Wow. Amazing wingguy. Just don't rub it in too much.

i'm excited to post because after being off the bike for a while i'm back on it. however as per below the scenery on this ride is not great (i.e. looks like landfill). that would be fine except wingguy is posting amazing photos of dream ride locations.

oh well it was great to ride.

better to just focus on the bike :D

^ Where's the front brake? Also, why no bar tape on the drops?

Ride in the White River National Forest between ~7500 and 10,000ft+. I'm continually adapting to higher elevations; my power output was quite respectable today.

LeDUke - thanks for the link, great read. that guy will write the greatest book about cycling one day i hope. i for one am not after a "dishing of dirt", just a genuine appreciation of how training/assistance at highest levels has really impacted performance.

yes my bike and that stem

i am recovering from back surgery. during that phase (leading up to and post) i decided to make a project of my bike. this meant going from UCI weight to something less.

it is as yet unfinished and hence the lack of front brake, tape. stem is a 12 deg pointing to the sky and yes i am ashamed but it also makes my back happy. i hope for better days. that said i was overjoyed to have a ride.
