You have to pull it to the side and up as well. Could be better, could be worse. No complaints about it.

Yep, at the top of Coll de Rates you can go through the cafe car park, over 100m of gravel track and then you find another 3km @ >10% up to the aerials.

Nice tip! Heading for Benidorm in a few days and will definitely try to ride the Rates.

But Tudons is nicer.
