Steve Tilford is one crusty cynical dude but provides good insight on Tommy D.

That was... that was sarcasm, right?

Ted I totally dig your personal interactions with the pros, and if they involve your son that's cool too. You're a great father.

Big crash at the end of the Tour of Poland stage today.

Ewan seems a bit nervous, which might be influencing his commitment to his sprint line. Modolo looked to be sprinting normally, but one twitch at those speeds and you're screwed.

At first I thought Ewan had screwed up big time, but watching it a few times I don't think there's much in it. If anything I feel like stage 1 looked more dicey. Stage 2 looks just like a racing incident to me - it ended up being quite a small touch of wheels.

I think Kittel has a right to be grumpy at Pelucchi. That hit from the side was probably a bit over the top and enough to make Kittel move from his line.

Pretty crazy save from Nizzolo.

No. And I'm not questioning his fathering ability. Just I come here for bikes, not having fatherhood forced on me every time Ted posts.

Disagree all you like, but every other father on here manages just fine not posting pics of their kids.

How about you jump into the Venge thread and remove the dozen pages of whether aero matters or not?

Kwalker,

If you are so intereested in what we do and think that you can do it better, I´d love to make you moderator. Contact me if you still feel like it.

I agree. Its all very nice and that,,, but showing "all" those photos [ didn't he post those before?] has nothing to do with the subject at hand.
No one said Phinney was a bad chap no one said he's not a decent athlete.
Imagine if we all started posting photo's of our kids every time we want to make a point.

Is it only me or Caleb Ewan seems like a dangerous sprinter to be around? The first stage: makes a sudden move to correct his line. Second stage: it looks like his left foot uncleated?

I think it's you :). In Stage 1 it was a tricky maneuver but nothing wrong with it. Stage 2: on the right is his teammate and on the left Bonifazio passes him, Bonifazio goes to the right so closes Ewen in between his real wheel and the Orica teammate. Not much Ewan could do about that.

>>a bit off topic<<

so much negativity in the air here you could slice it. every post in a while someone's trying to tell other guys what to write about, despite often ranting about all sorts of things by himself.

could we just restrain ourselves from being A-holes for one another and untill it's pro-related, like social media, contracts, doping, cash, pics with pros, etc. just don't interact, don't comment if you're not interested. it's really that simple I think. we have mods here, who seldom have to interfere, so let's let them to the job, shall we?

>>back to racing<<

for a lighter note, yesterday a major polish tv reported the crash in TdP was caused by, let me quote: "pedal straps failure". yes, you got it right, strapped pedals...

If I have to read your totally useless posts it only seems fair you have to see some photos you don't want to see.
Is natures way to balance things out :p

Now that's crazy talk. Please tell me you are kidding.
