It is not found in food storage products or packaging; it has strictly medical and industrial uses. Furthermore, the test for plasticizers is qualitative rather than quantitative, meaning a result can simply be reported as "positive" instead of "10000000 ng/dl". A positive is a positive.
Interestingly, I often have to use DEHP-free bags and IV tubing for my transplant patients receiving anti-rejection meds. I simply grab it from right next to the regular tubing.

do you have a photo of that or you just made it up in texas?
A photo of him conducting an organ transplant? A photo of DEHP-free tubing?
You realize that he was making a "most likely" statement, based on professional experience, not a statement of fact, right? As in, "If someone received a transfusion, the most likely plasticizer to be found would be the primary component of IV bags and tubing: DEHP."
And, where the hell did you get Texas from? His location clearly says Tucson, AZ.
Slowly back away from the keyboard. Go drink a beer.
No, a photo of the document where you have obtained those results about Contador plastizicer levels. It can be a photo of an internet forum, or rumour, new york times, or the real blood analysis. Otherwise, it seems to me your response is questionable.
Questioning a persons response is fine. Lets keep it civil please. I think we should be above name calling. I did edit this.

AGW's explanation jibes exactly with how I remember the plasticizer issue - they couldn't use the presence of them in the Contador case because there was no protocol for it, but the panel knew where the material came from.
Liggero, you sure do like calling people idiots.

Lemond has pretty sever ADHD if Im not mistaken. Putting him behind a mic for a long period of time will result in more tangents than one can handle. I am very surprised he gets anything other than a guest spot because of his issues. I say this because I dont want to take anything away from him re: his knowledge and ability.
and here is to hoping Contador ditches the black shoes before the Tour!

Exactly. Greg is the greates guy ever, but his comments are bit weird. Flecha has some weird comments, some times, but it seems to me they just ask him to be a future teller, and he just can't do that, obviously, but he makes a nice try and it's fun to hear him. He is very enthusiastic.
I agree with that thing of the black shoes. Those shoes colour seems more suitable for and american Rapha customer, with tattoes, beard, and 500Km yearly on strava. LOL!!!
Lets not go to this American bashing. I am an American and don't wear Rapha nor does anyone I personally know or ride with. I ride well over 10,000 km per year on a low mileage year and do have black shoes. I also do not care to watch American football. I also appreciate Pro cycling and more importantly do not call anyone names because of their personal beliefs, race or because of where they live. Very poor taste. Lets take our position on something with thought and wit. Anyone can throw rocks.

Lol, I like how a nation bash can be shoe-horned into any topic. I can't comment on pro cycling because of my location, but some joker paying a 42% socialism tax can bemoan his misconception of our largess.
Come to the U.S. on holiday Ligerro. I'll put on my finest Rapha and take you for some crap Yankee coffee on my single annual bike ride. But we're still imperial here, so we'll have to remenisce about our shared adventure in miles rather than km.

Although I'm not particularly fond of liggeros tone, I have to agree to a certain extent about the Contador case. We've all heard the rumours of plasticizer present in his samples, but no official records mentioned it. So unless we can find official documents or references that mentions the plasticizers specificly, it really can't be used against him.
Oh, and to talk of something else than doping and Arus face, here's Berties bike for tomorrow:

Dude, be careful - there could be a drone strike in your future.

We have plenty of Rapha suckers right here. they do their own Rapha meeting rides, with Rapha clothes, Maseratti support vehicle (no kidding). Here in Europe we also beat you guys on superficial and stupid elitism. Is funny to watch them in instagram, all dressed pink, with bracelet on the arm, black shoes, long socks, casquette... Pathetic. But they represent 0,5% of the total, or less. Most riders here kick your ass, and mine too, with 15 year old sidi and bikes with shift levers on the frame. We also have grandmothers with heavy commuter bikes and time trial handlebar extensions. Here there are no cycling cafes, all cafes here have a bike parking larger than the terrace.
A little humbleness would be nice when responding to others.

Applause to Hesjedal for doing some ballsy rides late in the game. Looks like was in form just didn't get it done the first 2 weeks.
I never took drugs to improve my performance at any time. I will be willing to stick my finger into a polygraph test if anyone with big media pull wants to take issue. If you buy a signed poster now it will not be tarnished later. --Graeme Obree

The giro was truly a great race, but I can't help but doubt the podium will fail to "stand the test of time" to paraphrase Froome. At least two of the spots, anyway.
That pink specialized looks really good. The domination of Specialized in this race almost makes me want to test ride a Tarmac.
