Lol you guys moderate talk about pros and social media, which fits into this thread, but do nothing against the legion of trolls that end up posting porn.

How about you jump into the Venge thread and remove the dozen pages of whether aero matters or not?

So if Tommy D's B sample is +ve, which it most likely will be, does that mean an 8 year or lifetime ban now? Also will JV leave the team like he said he would if one of the riders on his team ever tests +ve?

Tommy D must have just been taking supplements for his low 't' like gaimon....

Velonews speaks only of lifetime ban if B sample is positive for Tommy Danielson.

Kittel very unhappy with Pelucchi for almost collision before their sprint launch. Does he have a point or was it just racing?

Can see a bit of it at the very end here at cyclingnewstv youtube

gaimon came on CN with some interview about what it means to be a 'clean' rider.... maybe it's just me, but why does this sound weird.....
"I’ve been training at altitude lately, and I have no problem with my daily iron supplement. In addition, cycling is low-impact and I want healthy bones, so I take calcium and magnesium. A couple years ago, blood tests reveled that my testosterone was low. That would hurt performance, so I started taking a supplement called tribulus. When the T was still low, I doubled the dose. Months later, it was back in the “normal” range. Was it the tribulus, or was it that I’d had a few weeks off of racing and a chance to rest? Most likely the latter, but I kept taking the tribulus, just in case."

in relevant TP news.

When I pull tribulus out of my deflated tires that gets my testosterone up.

If he had potential he would have won the stage....

Gamion's article was pretty stupid considering the amount of stuff that is not reported on supplement labels. Or that the supplement he took is not actually prGoing back and looking at what were considered "reputable" brands from my lifting years from 2004-2010 most of the companies have gone by the wayside and/or compounds they sold were not what they said.

Honestly, I think its highly probable that he tested positive from a contaminated supplement but I can't seem to find what type of testoserone he tested positive for. In the USA Today article linked below ALRI was spiking most of its lineup with a pretty common anabolic that stays in the system for ~18 months. A lot of esters cannot be readily absorbed unless injected, so then that argument could go out the window. Even then, you'd have to be really bad about your use to get caught and something tells me a guy that has already doped and served a ban probably knows some tricks and tips.

They will claim tainted supplement but no way, not in this day and not at his age. Absolutely absurd excuse. He, of all ppl, would know better than take some shady supplement. Highly likely he took Test just like so many others and got popped due to being targeted.
Tribulus is not Test. Not even close. More of a natural vitamin.

Thank you, Nathan for a realistic post. Taylor has had to deal with a ton in his 24 years... from being born with a gift ( not always a blessing) to having to deal with his Dad's situation, to fame and his injury. Somehow, despite it all, he's managed to stay somewhat accessible.

Sorry, had to reply cause I'm proud of the kid. Back to our programing.

I can't wait to see how JV responds. Maybe there was a relevant MBA class that will help him out.

Ted, is there a chance of a post from you that does not feature your son please? I come here for bike discussion and pictures of pros - not kids.

Thank you.
