Not a real news.
Just a sad ordinary fact which doesnt happen only in Italy.

It's the same thing as riders getting contracts because they bring sponsor(s) to the team which is mentioned. Nothing new or exclusively Italian.

Would be a dream come true to see the Tour de France start in Legoland

Not quite...

They launched the project offically now, with all kinds of involvement from national, regional, and local authorities.

Progolue in downtown Copenhagen (presumably individual)
Stage 2 from Roskilde to Odense (that would be the same day as the Roskilde festival ends... oh, the joy)
Stage 3 from Vejle to Sønderborg (near the German border)

That's the rough outline.

As reported here http://www.thebikecomesfirst.com/race-error-causes-split-peloton-to-crash-head-on-at-sprint-finish-video/
"The accident happened on the final sprint of Stage 4 of the Colorful Yunnan Gryffindor International Cycling Race in China on the 12th of November and left seventeen cyclists being rushed to hospital. Reports suggest the lead motor took a wrong turn before the finish bringing the riders past the finish line which meant the riders approached the finish from the wrong direction. This resulted in them meeting second group head-on as they were sprinting to the finish."

Given the lifecycle of women's pro teams we can probably expect to purchase their entire fleet before the end of 2016.
