I definitely wouldn't say that given the terrain and that we don't know how other brands really faired. They could have both him a specific spot that would crack a lot of rims.

No actual evidence but Phil said Martin took Trentin's bike. If that is the case that would make his win truly epic (not new wave epic) considering the 3-inch height difference.

The wire came loose = wireless

Well, seeing as plenty of us watched them swap bikes on live TV, I'd say that yes, it did in fact happen.
Matteo Trentin was interviewed about it after the race, too.

Opposite brakes on Martin/Trentin bikes- makes Martin's ride even more impressive.

+1
Taking the jersey with some style, rather than by scooped up bonus seconds.

hhaa i was wondering from footage (only was able to catch the end) since when did t martin use classic bars LOL. truly winning in 'style'
Even from the side view you could tell it wasn't his bike, it looked like he was pedaling a child's bike.
Re-watching the finale he attacked at the perfect time. Sky had no impetus to chase- their GC man was through the cobbles in safe position. BMC seemed to hesitate. Giant hesitated when they all did and didn't exactly have help. Sagan had almost no one with him. All the while Martin is opening a bigger and bigger gap.

Tbh I think it was a smart move. He was already 3 minutes back but now at the end of the tour he can blame missing out on a podium/top 5/whatever on his mechanical in stage 4 instead of missing a split in stage 2 and not being good enough in stage 3
Speaking of time, this Tour is Froome's to lose. If you assume (which I do) that Contador will hit Giro fatigue and crack at some point then a minute thirty to Nibali and two minutes to Quintana is too much to close without Froome's having a serious problem.

Awesome video
Peter Sagan was joking with the sprinters, trying to make them move. Degenkolb was laughing, it seemed like Greipel didn't get the joke until a couple of seconds later. Funny
