Back to those SRAM Wireless TT images, that's an awful lot of wires for 'wireless'. :)

Let's see if I have this right.

- Specialized rider wins on any bike other than new Venge, it proves the VAiS is rubbish. Not aero and really no advantage.

- Specialized rider wins on a VAiS, it's a marketing conspiracy and contrary to the rider's real choice of bike.

The phase 'grasping at straws' really does not do justice to this thinking.

I think the point being made is that Sagan did 95% of the stage on a Tarmac and switched to a VAIS for the sprint, which suggests the VAIS is not comfortable and/or much good up hills.

Modolo to Quick step ?

Surprising, I don't think he's as good as Cavendish and the best sprinters

Too bad, Lampre would have been good for Rolland , probably better than Garmin or IAM

If I recall correctly, Cav is rumoured to leave Quickstep along with Renshaw to Qhubeka.

How do either of you know that the bike swap was in any way forced or against his will?

No, it doesn't suggest ANYTHING whatsoever. Until he comes out and gives a reason it could be anything and its ignorant to make up crap just to hate on a brand.

while cav is likely on the move I'm fairly certain this rumor was 100% shot down as they simply don't have the budget. Not sure cav is far enough on the backside of his career to be allowed on Qhubeka anyway

Dimension Data who did the big data stuff for this year's TdF are rumoured to be taking over from MTN as the title sponsor with an increase in budget.

Micky posted this on his website but I can't place the team if anyone knows? Cipollini frame on Lightweights and EPS is well nice.
