Weight Weenies

Off on my family holiday next week and considering taking my brompton with me to do some training while I'm away. Wondered if anyone has been and, if so, any idea how rideable the roads are. From what little I can glean I know the island is small with a 'major' road north/south, MTB a possibility, but that's about it!
