As of late I have been purchasing mostly Giordana bibs, jerseys, socks and gloves. The chamois seems to work the best for me in all levels of their line. I have had LG for most of my club/race stuff and they make a descent jersey but the bib chamois just doesnt work for me. The Vermec line is also nice as well as Castelli but I like the Giordana the best. Oh yeah Wiggle has started to carry Ale which is made by the same company that does Giordana which seems to be right up there quality wise but maybe a little less expensive.

Over the last few seasons I've settled on Assos on the bottom and Rapha on the top. I have yet to find anything that comes close to Assos bibs for comfort, quality, and longevity. As for Rapha, haters are gonna hate, but I love 'em.

Quoted because you're spot-on right.

100 % in agreement! :-)

There's always someone raving about some kit "It's as good as Assos!". I try it, turns out, no, not at all! Assos are undefeated in my experience at least.

well, for what its worth, I think I have tried on just about every assos jersey they make and they all fit me like garbage bags on a windy day. The first time I bought one, I got the same size I get in everything else and I got it home to try on and it was like a windsock.

It's no secret that assos is fat guy clothing, but at least the shorts are dialed.

^I don't think Assos tops are particularly flabby, viceroy. I'm a rather skinny and long limbed 183 cm and this ss.cento size M fits me just fine. Also I find Rapha Pro team tops wider and shorter in the arms than Assos.

that guy's jersey fits him poorly, lots of bunched up fabric at the bottom of the shirt. The zipper is also not smooth indicating extra room in the torso. Sorry, I want to like Assos shirts, I just can't due to fit.

I found that the Assos Chamois were a bit too diaper like IMO. Rest of the bibs were fine, but nothing too amazing. Last longer than the Rapha stuff though, but the Rapha had a better fit/compressive feel. Can't say much for the quality of Rapha tops, but their jackets and gillets haven't been great for me.
Don't take me too seriously. The only person that doesn't hate Froome.

I like the way Rapha fits me...but yes I seem to get slight pilling on the bibs quick... I've dropped some weight so it all fits me like shit anyways now... have to go down a size.

Value for money I really like Endura. I wear their waist shorts, base layer, cashmere socks. I've also got a Castelli Life jacket that I wear most of the time. Assos leg warmers. Got various Assos and Rapha jersey's but they only come out in warm weather
