I am in Dallas (Richardson area) for the summer working an internship. As I just got to the city I don't know much about the cycling here. I have been able to find longer routes through Strava and Garmin Connect. However, I have no clue where I could do intervals such as VO2 max and threshold work.

Could anyone suggest some places for me?

There are a lot of bicycle clubs in Dallas. A quick Google search turned up 10 clubs.

Check out http://www.fit2train.com. I have a friend that is part of that team/club. I have ridden with them a few times and they are a great bunch.
