Any word on what is happening to Parkers - that most longstanding of UK retailers?

Website down or something more permanent?

gone.... owners retiring.... trying to sell the business.... if not, totally gone.

That's it, they are now closed. Remaining stock is being sold on e-bay.

They tried moving to larger premises but couldn't keep pace. CRC are miles ahead with their free returns service. But Parkers were okay in the pre-internet mail order days.
