Hoping someone can help me out.
Looking to build a disc road frame sourcing a Chinese frame as the basis.
I would like to get it painted as opposed to a black/bare frame.
Is there a program or the like which allows me to create the design?
Basically i want to copy this design but change the lettering/name to my own.
Image
How do i copy the lettering onto the frame in EPS or PDF to send to the supplier in a useable format?

Talk to the guys at Paint My Bike in Brisbane. They'll be able to come up with something with you.

Or try Steve at Sungraphics (melbourne).

Good luck

Fletch,

Your best option would be to find the font for the text and let the painting company know. The font is basically all they need.

My guess is that it is Impact or Helvetica in italics or something similiar.

I haven't liked the Cippolini bikes yet, but wow, loving that one!

I had mine sprayed and gave the guys some photocopies of the frame with annotation for decal spacing and colour ways. For the decals themselves I spent a fair amount of time looking at different font options; I ended up using something from google fonts.

The spray shop then use a stencil cutter and spray in the colours. Pic below.

Not sure where you are based but if in the UK I can share their details.

Nice, looks like it has some potential for paint scheme design, although nothing you couldn't do in photoshop.
