Strava cheats.
Moderators: robbosmans, Moderator Team
Whenever I get messages that someones taken my KOMs the cheats have usually been automatically deleted by the time I look at it. If not, every ride I've flagged (and they are blatant) has been deleted by a Strava human and I guess the user's account pften closed as well, because the same cheats haven't cropped up twice.
System seems to work.

Cheats are everywhere so Strava is never going to be an exception.
I just flag the rides. It's obvious when they are either deliberate or accidental cheats.
No dramas.
I stress more about cheats winning 3 week tours but Strava cheats are easier to flag!

To grossly paraphrase Brecht's Galileo :-
"No, unhappy the lands who needs Strava."
Utterly pointless "cheating", even worse caring about it.

Why are people like this? Living a lie, I did a sportive a few weeks ago, quite a distance.....I passed one guy, all the gear....not once, 4 times!!!! He was pedalling squares the first time I passed him! He finished 10 mins behind me, over an 11 hour event. He looked very sheepish and didn't hang around at the end! I was initially fuming, now....good luck to him!

Bingo. Who cares if someone took your KOM. Sheesh what is this world coming to where we get our giggles from Strava, FB, Twitter...etc. Just get out and ride your bike because you enjoy it. Who gives a flying flip about a bunch of social media apps.
