need helmet suggestion for pointy head...
Moderators: robbosmans, Moderator Team
i've tried specialized, bell and even some giro helmets in the past and still can't find one that sits right.
the top of my head literally looks like Ultraman... very pointy.
the side of the helmet touches my head.. but everytime after 30 miles ride when sweat start... the helmet tilts left or right. i've tighten it from the back and still no help. if i put the strap too tight.. i feel like i'm dying and can't breath and also the top of my head will hurt resting against the top of the helmet.
any other suggestions to try? i tired the giro air attack (large) felt snug, but top feels uncomfortable resting on my head.
TIA

I was thinking you could go to the next size up helmet with the sweatband and perhaps the pointy part wouldn't cause problems
To take the sweatband only idea further, how bout an accelerometer based inflatable sweatband - cool literally

Maybe you should try a Lazer helmet.
Don't know what it does in height exactly but their system is designed that way that it doesnt matter if you have an oval or round shaped head. Therefore in all conditions it closes better round your skull and so maybe this will do the thing for you.
